In only about a month Townsend will be out and about across the world and across industries at two of the design world’s biggest tradeshows, the HD Expo in Las Vegas and EBACE in Geneva, Switzerland.
We are excited for these shows, connecting with great people, exploring current trends, and releasing some things that we have been working on.
Each show will have different leathers and solutions, tailored specifically for each industry, but all will have Townsend signature quality and eye for design.
As fans of Townsend, you the viewers of this blog, are being treated with an exclusive first look at just a few of the things you might see at these upcoming shows. You’ll have to come to our booths in person to have the full experience of feel and smell, but for now you can enjoy these Sneak Peak images.

We will have leathers for true leather lovers, leathers with unbelievable soft hand, leathers with proprietary glaze, leathers with one of a kind treatments, unique embossings, and unparalleled hand crafting. These are sure to be some exciting shows.
Townsend Leather just returned from a fantastic time in Nashville, Tennessee. In a flurry of stunning design, Townsend loved being a part of the HI Connect Design show. HI Connect
The show was filled with beautiful products and eye catching designs for all aspects of the hospitality industry.
Townsend Leather had multiple leathers featured on a few different pieces. Including an Abstract Art ottoman.
The show was busy with lots of activity and interest. We look forward to future shows.
New York State is changing tax laws to make the state even more appealing to current and new business. Local newspaper, The Leader Herald, took some time last week to visit with Townsend Leather and find out what this could mean for us.
They spent part of the day photographing Townsend partners and getting to know our process even more. They also spent time talking to our very passionate and knowledgeable VP of Sales and Marketing, Sarah Eckler, to hear how the tax changes will impact Townsend.

It is officially Spring and even though there is still snow on he ground and the cold weather is hanging on, everyone at Townsend is happily ‘thinking spring’.
The masters have been at it again, creating a Tropical inspired collection of Stingray leathers.
Really helping to set the mood for warm sunny days to come.
These colors were appreciated by everyone working on them and were inspired by a love of the tropics, but were made to very specific specifications.
Matching exact color of fabric choices and carpet samples. Just the kind of project Townsend’s color team excels at. We have talked before about color matching leather to fabric, this time had the added bonus of inciting beachy memories.
Townsend Leather celebrated our second annual Cabin Fever party this past weekend,
and it was all around great.
It has been a long cold winter, and even though winter has not yet loosened its grip on our area (it was still only 14 degrees here in Johnstown this morning!), we all took some time to warm up and chill out with good food and even better people.
There were so many pleasures to enjoy, and the party lasted late into the night.
It was welcome break for everyone to step away from machines and computers
and just focus on each other.
Anytime you see food options that involve bowls of multiple toppings choices – you know it is going to be a good night. And that happened not once, but twice at this party!
Mashed potatoes toppings bar and a make-your-own sundae, that’s a full dinner right there!
But food and drinks were hardly the best part of the evening.
We had a few honored guests at the party who were honored for their service to Townsend and were welcomed for spreading their joy among us.
And of course we had drawings, prizes and winners! Every Townsend party does!
Winners walked away with some pretty incredible gifts like Wine and BBQ baskets.
Everyone was also treated to an impromptu performance by one of our own, singing a powerful rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow.
And of course, there was dancing! So much dancing!
It was a great fun night for everyone.
But with a team of people as great as the team at Townsend, having a good time is a guarantee.
We are already looking forward to the party next year!
Like all NEWH events, the NEWH Bethesda show was a smashing hit for Townsend this year.
Townsend was excited to be at this regional NEWH show with it’s DC and beyond professionals and hundreds of innovative products and projects. Townsend had some new patterns and techniques to unveil like new additions to our Abstract Art line and our Illusions pattern, as well as many other new and exciting leathers.
