This is a picture of Barb and me on a hike in the Adirondack Mountains during the beautiful autumn season of 2012.  The picture represents two of my passions:  Family and Nature.

A message that Terry would like to leave to his family who succeeds him in the family business:
I paraphrase James Hughes from his book “Family Wealth”.   “Each succeeding generation must bring its own creativity and innovation to the family business.”  The third generation leaders of Townsend cannot rely on the successes of the previous two generations.  It must join the human, intellectual and financial capital it has inherited to the skills, passion and new ideas it brings to the family business.
