Every order is thoroughly tested in our own laboratory to ensure it meets or exceeds industry performance standards. Retaining formulas and retainer cuttings of each order allows us to control dye lot variation and provide matches to previous dye lots from year to year.

On August 14, 2012, Townsend Leather was granted the official Certificate of Registration from Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc., certifying its compliance with the standards set forth. Audits confirming ongoing conformance are conducted each year. Townsend Leather is in conformance with ISO9001:2015 and AS9100D
in respect to the following scope: The Production and Service of Quality Leather Products and Cut Sets of Leather. This certification pertains directly to the Aviation Industry.
