Just keep swimming . . . this oceanic-themed 🐠 🐟 mood board featuring many of our leathers and especially our Galuchat Cowhide in Stingray pattern was made by Townsend’s 4th generation Partner, Kendra Martin @thedecrepitwriter.

We know everyone has their own struggles lately, whether it’s getting through this long, cold, snowy winter, work challenges, or other stressors in life, and sometimes we all need a reminder to keep fighting the good fight. Razzle Dazzle Cowhide features a foil transfer which creates the high metallic sheen and the reflective surface of this leather. It is then roller-embossed with design impression patterns and multiple hand-effects.

Manchester Cowhide in Boyfriend Jeans 👖 Blue embossed with Saltwater Croc 🐊 . Our Manchester is aniline dyed and sprayed with wax and this embossed version creates natural highs and lows in the color tones.

The color is named for the trend of borrowing “your boyfriend’s” well worn and beloved relaxed fit jeans. And while nowadays you’ll see boyfriend jeans in every wash and color, the most ‘traditional’ look is the faded lighter blue with tasteful wear spots on the thighs or knees, and maybe even chewed up hems.

We love when fashion inspires our work and we really love the look of this fun leather.

Winter has been wintering hard here at our headquarters in Upstate New York. The cold temps, snow ❄️ and ice 🧊 have been taking a toll on our psyches, but we are immediately cheered when we see these bright colored pigskins coming through our factory.

Each year we are so fortunate to add such great talent and partners with tremendous potential to our team! We love to kick off our year in awards and superlatives for our Rookie of the Year and today we announced our winner 🥇 Patty Brown! Along with Olivia Eckler, Hannah Davis, Dante Sistrunk, Alyssa Quillan, Alexis Orshowitz, and Daniella Brown - Patty earned votes from all our partners as finalists for having a great impact in their first year with Townsend!
Patty hit the ground running at Townsend learning how to develop colors and color drum operation. Her passion and enthusiasm for her work, her growth, and that of those around her was infectious! She not only demonstrated great confidence, care, and acumen, but she made a very much needed practical impact allowing others to cross train or focus on other areas requiring attention. Her impact in presence and productivity was immediate and immense! Congratulations to Patty and our 6 other finalists, as well as the 19 other very deserving partners joining us in 2024! Special thanks to Ashley Capobianco (former ROY herself), our Human Resources Lead, (pictured in Cowboys gear next to Patty in first pic) for doing such a wonderful job picking, placing, and nurturing all of our employees growth and success.
