TOWNSEND LEATHER IS MANUFACTURED IN UPSTATE NEW YORK.
Townsend is the manufacturer, not just a distributor or warehouse; we do all of our own processing: coloring, finishing, embossing, special effects, flameproofing, & much more. Our facility is located in Upstate New York at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains where there is a long history and tradition of leather making & generations of families who have made leather and passed down the nuances with each generation. Townsend Leather is the only leather manufacturer in America that is AS9100 Certified. And we love giving tours of our facility and providing a glimpse into how each leather order is made.
